Drawbacks of Window Seats:

• Disrupt the seatmates in the washroom - Every time you go to the washroom, you will have to disrupt the other seatmates.
• Cannot access the overhead compartment - You need to wait for the middle and Aisle seat passengers to leave. Until then, you will not be able to access the overhead compartment.
• Not good for passengers with a fear of heights - Passengers who have a fear of heights should avoid booking the Window seat.

Both the seats have their own pros & cons, and in the end, it just all comes down to the choice of the passengers. When you are flying a long distance, aisle seats are the preferred option, and for red-eye flights, the passengers prefer window seats for the view.
