Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival
- Our representative will receive you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
- Transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, known for monasteries, festivals, and scenic beauty.
- Check-in at hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 02 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass Optional)
- After breakfast, drive 40 km (2 hrs) to Tsomgo Lake, an oval-shaped lake often snow-covered, home to Brahminy ducks and migratory birds.
- Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (12 km from the lake).
- Return to Gangtok. Evening free for MG Road or local shopping.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Note: Alternate sightseeing will be provided in case of bad weather, landslides, or political restrictions.
Day 03 : Gangtok – Mangan – Chungthang – Lachen
- After breakfast, drive to Lachen via Mangan and Chungthang.
- Scenic stops en route: Naga Waterfalls, Twin Waterfalls, Bhim Nala Waterfalls, and the junction of Lachen & Lachung rivers.
- Lunch en route.
- Check-in at Lachen hotel.
- Overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 04 : Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung
- Early morning, drive to Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest and sacred lakes in North Sikkim. Caution advised due to high altitude.
- On return, visit Chopta Valley (subject to road conditions).
- Lunch at Lachen hotel.
- Drive to Lachung, check-in at hotel, rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 05 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok (Zero Point Optional)
- After breakfast, drive 26 km (1 hr) to Yumthang Valley.
- Optional visit to Zero Point (approx. INR 3,500 per car).
- Visit hot springs known for medicinal properties.
- Lunch at Lachung hotel.
- Drive back to Gangtok via Chungthang & Mangan, check-in at hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 06 : Gangtok – Darjeeling Transfer
- After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling.
- Check-in at hotel.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 07 : Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
- Early morning (4:00 AM), visit Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability). Return to hotel.
- After breakfast (8:30 AM), visit:
- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
- P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed)
- Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Sunday closed)
- Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Ghoom Monastery
- Evening free for shopping or leisure.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 08 : Departure
- After breakfast, transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for onward journey.
