Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival – NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok
- Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our representative and proceed for your transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 02 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass – Optional)
- After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, approximately 40 km / 2 hours from Gangtok.
- Continue another 12 km to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir.
- Later, return to Gangtok. Evening free to explore MG Road (Mall Road) or the local shopping area.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Note: In case Tsomgo Lake is closed due to bad weather, landslides, or political conditions, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.
Day 03 : Gangtok – Lachung
- After breakfast, depart from Gangtok and drive to Lachung.
- En route, visit Singhik View Point (subject to weather conditions), Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and Naga Waterfalls.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 04 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Lachung – Gangtok (Zero Point – Optional)
- After breakfast, proceed to Yumthang Valley, located 26 km (approx. 1 hour) from Lachung.
- The valley is traversed by the Lachung River and is famous for snow-covered landscapes and blooming rhododendrons (seasonal).
- Optional Visit: Zero Point
- On the return journey, visit the famous Yumthang Hot Spring, known for its medicinal properties.
- Lunch at the Lachung hotel.
- After lunch, drive back to Gangtok.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 05 : Gangtok Half-Day Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling
After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing in Gangtok covering:
- Flower Show
- Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (closed on Sundays)
- Dro-Dul Chorten
- Bakthang Falls
- Gonjang Monastery
After sightseeing, transfer to Darjeeling.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 06 : Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour
Early morning at 4:00 AM, visit Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Return to the hotel.
After breakfast, start sightseeing at 8:30 AM, covering:
- Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
- Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays)
- Tenzing Rock
- Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays)
- Tea Garden (outer view)
- Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda
- Ghoom Monastery
Evening free for shopping or leisure.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 07 : Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your onward journey.
