The Qatar QR017 flight faced turbulence from Doha to Dublin over Turkey, caused by climate change. The incident occurred after the massive Singapore Airlines flight turbulence. The flight landed at Dublin Airport and met all the emergency conditions at the airport. The turbulence injured 12 people, including 6 passengers and 6 flight crew members.

Due to the turbulence caused by the flight's conditions, the passengers were questioned, and below given are their views and in-flight experience during the frightening scene in the flight. Passengers have described the incident to be scary and unnerving. The intimidated passengers then, in a discussion with the BBC, vividly explained the details. They added that they felt the plane seemingly drop out of the air for nearly five to six seconds when food and drinks were served. There are various opinions shared by people who speak of the conditions inside the flight.

A passenger named Cathal said that the seatbelt signs were off when the incident occurred and also informed us that the dinner served to him had come off his lap. He was traveling to his home in Ireland and said, "Just food all over the plane, on the ceiling, everywhere." 

Another passenger named Paul Mocc said that he witnessed people hitting the aircraft roof, saying, "I had my seatbelt on at the time, but they were serving food at the time, so a lot of the crew were injured." 

Another couple, Emma Rose Power and Conor Buckley, who were traveling to Dublin from Thailand, got stuck in the incident. Mr. Mocc went on to say that he observed crew members limping and some of them wearing bandages following the incident, but they carried on serving passengers. He also reported witnessing a single oxygen-using customer who was sprawled down across several seats and appeared to have back ailments. A flight attendant was seen to be "up in the air" by Mr. Buckley, who claimed to have felt the plane drop. A "look of panic on everyone's faces" was what Ms. Power saw when she was awakened from her slumber when the plane encountered turbulence. She further mentioned that some flight attendants had their arms hurt following the incident, and others had scratches on their cheeks.

What does the airport authority have to say about the turbulence?

After the safe landing with only some minor injuries, the airport authority expounded on the details at the airport and have in detail explained the conditions. 

Six passengers and six crew members were hurt in the incident, according to a statement from Dublin Airport; eight of them were sent to the hospital after being evaluated. Turbulence was encountered by Qatar Airways flight QR017 while passing over Turkey, according to the statement. Dublin Airport reported that operations were undisturbed and that it was helping travelers and employees. Although it will take longer to depart, flight QR018, the aircraft's return trip to Doha, is likely to proceed as planned, according to the airport.

While speaking to CNN, they said that although the flight successfully landed in Dublin, according to a statement from Qatar Airways, "a small number of passengers and crew sustained minor injuries in flight and are now receiving medical attention."

"The matter is now subject to an internal investigation," the statement continued. "The safety and security of our passengers and crew are our top priority."

Recently, with Singapore Airlines, when turbulence occurred, there were 104 injuries, and an old man was killed on the flight due to the heart condition of the person and the condition in the flight. It is likely that almost every flight faces turbulence as a result of climate change and the deterioration of healthy climatic conditions.
